Adopting a child is quite an intensive process to go through as there are respective jurisdictions or laws that you have to consider before taking in that kid for the long run. If you are up for a closed adoption, then you are preventing the adopted kid from making any sort of contact to their biological parents in this case. Open adoption on the other hand is the exact opposite of this, as that adopted child is allowed to make some sort of contact to their biological blood. Just keep in mind that this particular set up is not enforceable in the long run, therefore giving a possibility that it could become a closed adoption for those kids to sustain.
One way for kids to end up at a child adoption agency, is for their biological parents to not be capable enough to provide for them in a constant basis. Another could be for those single mothers that are not able to give out the essentials to their kid, therefore having an adoption in tow as a perfect solution in the matter. There are even instances wherein children are abandoned therefore making them viable for the position of being adopted in the long run. For those parents that neglect and abuse their child for their own personal gain, then that could put them in the position of losing them in the near future. Foster care is probably more appropriate for them to venture themselves into and grow to become a great citizen in this world.
